Harry Baweja's latest film is Love Story 2050 and, as the name suggests, is a sci-fi and set in the future, in 2050 to be more specific. The protagonists, Karan (Harman Baweja) and Sana (Priyanka Chopra) travel to the future using a time machine built by Dr. Yatinder Khanna (Boman Irani). It's full of special effects. Even though it has been criticized for being amateurish and waste of the huge Rs. 500 million, I give credit to Harry for trying something different. Bollywood seriously needs to make something besides the lame and mindless comedies. Not that they aren't producing any good films, however there's been only a few every year. So kudos to Harry for trying something different.

As the name says, Dus Kahaniyaan consists of 10 different stories of different people with different themes. These short stories are directed by six directors, i.e. Sanjay Gupta, Apoorva Lakhia, Meghna Gulzar, Hansal Mehta, Jasmeet Dhodi and Sudhir Mishra. The list of the cast for Dus Kahaniyaan is even longer. I'm not going to list every name here. Just know there definitely is one or more of your favorite actors in this film.

To keep the tradition alive, the producers have also hired more than one music directors for this film. They are Gourav Dasgupta, Anand Raj Anand, Bappi Lahiri and Shafqat Ali Khan. Once again there is something for everyone the following 3 sets of songs. For me the most interesting ones seem to be Gulzaar's poems. One of the reasons I've been hesitating to post DK's songs is that there are just too many. I could've posted three albums instead of it, but since so many people want it, I had to ignore that feeling. Anyway I hope you enjoy these songs.

While you are still in the mood for patriotic songs (even though the previous one didn't have many) here is another one. 1971 is a film set during/right after (not sure :D) the 1971 war between India and Pakistan, and it is about the struggle of a group of Indian prisoners who are escaping the Pakistani camp. 1971 stars Manoj Bajpai, Chittaranjan Giri, Deepak D, Kumud Mishra, Manav Kaul and Ravi Kishan. The director of the film is Amrit Sagar.

Akash Sagar is the music director. Since I haven't had a chance to listen to the songs of 1971, I can't say anything about 'em. I hope you you like them enough to share them with others.

Dev D is a 2008 Romantic Drama film written and directed Anurag Kashyap as a modern day take on Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay's classic novel Devdas.

Socha Na Tha is directed by Imtiaz Ali, and stars Abhay Deol and Ayesha Takia in the leading role.

The music, directed by Sandesh Shandilya, is great. I specially like Na Sahi, and Abhi Abhi, and Ya Yarab, and ....... I guess I like 'em all, lol. I haven't watched the movie yet. Do you think I should?? Is it worth it? These days, I'm only watching preselected and recommended movies because I'm a little short in free time.

Well, well,well, Pritam has sent us another soundtrack album, this time Naksha's which stars Sunny Deol, Vivek Oberoi, Sameera Reddy and Jackie Shroff. The film is directed by Sachin Bajaj.

Naksha's music is not like the rest of Pritam's 2006 works. I didn't find the songs very pleasant, most with pretty empty lyrics. Not something that will stand out. The song Yaara Ve reminds me of the Pakistani band, Junoon's music.
